Mini Kickers Sessions

New sessions of the Mini Kickers Soccer School are due to begin in September at , Beverley.

Sessions will begin on Sunday, 13 September at Longcroft School.  The sessions are open to children in two age groups; four- five year olds and six- eight year olds.

The younger age group will learn the basic skills of soccer, focusing on developing control, passing, moving with the ball and other skill areas as identified by the Association (FA) Six-eight year olds will attend a development academy. These sessions will enhance the skills and understanding gained from the soccer basics sessions or previous football coaching, and help to prepare the children for the move into competitive club football through Mini Soccer.

The sessions will focus on individual skills, teamwork, movement and decision-making. As part of the East Riding football development project, the Mini Kickers sessions have direct links into four well-established partner football clubs within the Beverley area, providing a natural pathway from coaching into clubs.

All coaches hold current first and safeguarding qualifications and hold a minimum of FA level one qualifications. All coaches have been Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) cleared.
