Jack Taylor Lane Dispute

Bilby Drive

Bilby Drive resident Scott McHugh expressed his annoyance that his request to the local council for trees to be cut back has not been carried out.

The tress and shrubs have grown to twice their size in the nine years Mr McHugh has lived there. Problems have got worse for the resident as his own plants and shrubs are dying off due to the lack of light they are receiving due to the over hang from passage Jack Taylor Lane, Beverley.

Mr McHugh said

“There are plenty of gripes from neighbouring residents, who are already dispirited by the council’s lack of urgency. I’ve paid nearly nine years of council tax, and asked for nothing. But this is impacting on my quality of life and is what, in my view, my council taxes also go on.”

“I understand it’s a trivial issue in times like these, but I have more than paid my way and think I and my neighbours deserve a more.”
