Beverley has two reasons to celebrate after picking up winning twice at the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Chairman’s Awards.
The Beverley Arms won the Built Heritage while also an award for the Volunteen Project in the community section.
North Bridlington Library will be hosting ‘The Next Big Thing’ on Friday, 19 October, as part of the East Riding Festival of Words.
Debut authors, hotly tipped to become the bestsellers of tomorrow, will all be at the library that afternoon and evening, offering a chance for visitors to explore the best new literature on the market, with tickets from just £5 each.
The Burton Agnes Jazz & Blues Festival, which began in 2007, celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2017.
