The fourth and final event in the East Yorkshire Short Race Series took place on Saturday (April 10) in glorious sunshine at Londesborough Park, Market Weighton. Organised by Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers (HALO), the event consisted of two races of three kilometres with a handicapped start calculated for the second race. Beverley hosted the first event in the new Yorkshire Urban Orienteering League last Sunday. Organised by Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers (HALO) the event attracted 48 competitors some of whom had travelled considerable distances.
