Beverley Community Museum in the Guildhall has been officially re-opened after being refurbished by the chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Pat O’Neil.
The Beverley Community Museum is taking part in the East Riding’s First World War centenary commemorations with an exhibition that looks at the impact of the war in Beverley.
The existing popular exhibition “My Beverley,” which is in the Community Museum rooms at Beverley Guildhall, is being extended until 2 May.

The Beverley Guildhall will again be open for the Heritage Open Days this year, with a new exhibition to mark the event. This year’s open days are Thursday, 6 to Saturday, 8 September, for which the Guildhall will be open from 10am-4pm.
The Beverley Guildhall is trying something new for the summer this year. A new exhibition, called “Roll Up! Roll Up!” opens on Friday, 20 July, based around the pictures that Fred Elwell painted during his wanderings round Europe with the Sanger’s Circus.
