Genuine Gents Backs Movember And Offers Groom Best Man Deal

The spirit of goodwill is well and truly alive at Genuine Gents, the Beverley men’s hairdressers, with its Movember charity fundraising campaign, as part of a double whammy to help men’s physical and mental health.

The business owner Ozgur Dogan, commenting on Movember said;

“November is Movember here at Genuine Gents where we’re helping to support the serious cause of fighting men’s prostate and testicular cancer while backing mental health and suicide prevention.” 

“My own father died from cancer, and most people are affected in some way by this terrible disease. This year Genuine Gents is supporting research in this ongoing battle by putting all haircut donations in a November raffle towards the Movember charity for cancer research.”

Genuine Gents’ customers will be entered into Genuine Gents Movember Raffle where the winner will be drawn out of a hat at the end of the month for One Big Prize of Genuine Gents hair and skin products including Aftershave, Hair Tonic, Skin Care Product, and Wax.

The second prize is a full-service treatment, while the third prize is an additional treatment when the client comes in next for his haircut.

At the same time as backing Movember, the independent salon on Butcher’s Row is offering a Groom and Best Man deal any day of the week when both Groom and Best Man have their hair cut together.

Ozgur added;

“We know that many families are struggling now. We want to show our sympathy and understanding with how tight things are financially and how important it is to look after ourselves.”
