Local housebuilder, Homes Yorkshire East, is celebrating the launch of its brand-new development, Queens Court in Beverley.

Barratt Homes has revealed that the new development will contribute a total of almost £2m to support education, highways, recreational facilities and recreational land in the local community.

Queens Court offers a stylish selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes just a short walk from Beverley town centre and the pastures of .

The new development is perfect for families, with Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Keldmarsh Primary School just a short 5-minute walk away, whilst couples and professionals alike will enjoy a fantastic range of local shops and eateries on offer nearby.

In order to maintain the highest level of safety, for all customers and team members at Queens Court, all visits to the site are strictly by appointment only with safety and social distancing procedures in place throughout the development.

To streamline this process, Queens Court has launched a virtual online pre-booking system, designed with safety in mind. Customers are invited to select their preferred plot from the first available homes, listed on the Queens Court website, and secure a mortgage in principle for the value required ahead of booking an appointment.

Keen prospective homeowners will then be able to pre-book their reservation appointment to secure one of the first appointments, available from 10 am on Friday 17th July.

Paul Hogan, Sales Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire East, commented:

“The safety of our employees, subcontractors and customers is our main priority, so every precaution has been taken ahead of the Queens Court site launch on Friday 17th July. The steps we have put in place comply with social distancing measures and are designed to minimise any risk to the health of our workforce and valued customers.”

“From the week the Government announced lockdown regulations compared to recent figures from mid-June, website visits to the Queens Court development have almost trebled[1] – so we urge customers to register their interest early to avoid disappointment!”

As a thank you to all NHS employees working hard to look after during the COVID-19 crisis, Barratt Developments Yorkshire East has launched its NHS 5% Deposit Scheme offering all NHS workers a 5% deposit contribution, up to £15,000, towards a new Barratt home until the end of December 2020.

This scheme is available at Queens Court alongside the government’s Help to Buy Scheme, on selected plots, and with no stamp duty to pay until March 2021, buying a new home with Barratt is more affordable than ever.
