East Riding & Hull Rock Choir To Perform A Summer Concert In Beverley

Following the great success of their charity concert last December, the East Riding & Hull Rock Choir will once again be performing at St Mary’s Church in Beverley on Saturday, June 22nd.

The East Riding & Hull Rock Choir are one of the hundreds created nationwide over the past decade and 28,000 people currently sing within a Rock Choir.

The East Riding and Hull Choir has around 80 members so St Mary’s should sound fantastic as they perform their repertoire.

East Riding and Hull Rock Choir is celebrating its third year together and are based in Driffield, , Beverley and Hull. They sing at a variety of events both locally and nationally. 

They have raised money for many local charities and are delighted to support the work of Sight Support Hull & East Yorkshire. 

Singing and friendship are at the heart of Rock Choir, members enjoy fun, uplifting sessions weekly where they can come to relax and have a laugh together. Everyone is welcome at Rock Choir, we are a non-audition, no experience needed choir, more information can be found at www.rockchoir.com”

This event will be raising vital funds to support Sight Support Hull & East Yorkshire’s services for local people suffering sight loss or visual impairment.  The Rock Choir will be performing a range of contemporary songs such as ‘Uptown Girl; by Billy Joel and ‘Hallelujah’ by Leonard Cohen and a wide range of recent artists. The set list has been refreshed since last year’s show so everyone who enjoyed the previous event will be in for a treat on Saturday 22nd.

The Rock Choir will be supported by local singer Casey Adam who was the winner of the Star Search competition.

“The Rock Choir put on an amazing show for us at a packed church last December and we are delighted that they wish to support the charity once again with a summer show which will include a range of new songs. Casey Adam has rave reviews and won a prestigious local talent competition in 2017 so this show should be another great occasion within the spectacular setting of St Mary’s Church”
