Touring show The Snowman will be in Beverley for three dates this promising. Taking place at on 27 December the show will be shown three times.

This is the first time The Snowman tour has visited Beverley. Tickets for the performances are still available, which take place at 1.30PM 4PM and also 7PM.

This year, alongside The Snowman, audiences will be also able to see an exclusive animated film of the award-winning book The Bear and the Piano by David Litchfield.

This beautifully-illustrated tale of music, friendship and adventure that was first brought to the big screen in 2017. A specially commissioned version by Carrot Productions captures the essence of the original.

With music by Daniel Whibley played live by a professional orchestra, and narration recorded by superstar Joanna Lumley this entrancing creation looks set to become a family favourite for the next generation, judging by how well it was received last year.

As well as delivering these two absorbing stories to their audience, Carrot Productions’ performances also include other key elements, which make them so popular with parents.

An orchestra is drawn from some of the top musicians in the country, many of whom are members of such orchestras as The Hallé and the BBC Philharmonic

Also, every performance features a young soloist local to the area singing the haunting Walking in the Air solo which lies at the heart of the Snowman.

While a rousing overture, fun introduction to the orchestra and visit from the organisation’s very own snowman all add to the occasion.

This is the sixth annual tour by Carrot Productions. Already the most prolific of The Snowman film with a live orchestra in the world, this year they are taking their shows to more venues than ever before: 16 venues countrywide.
