Molescroft News Awarded The Millennium Cup By Parish Council

Molescroft Parish Council have awarded the Millennium Cup to Molescroft News on Woodhall Way in acknowledgement for the services they provide to the community.

News of the award was announced at the annual Molescroft Parish Council AGM where the council also praised the Molescroft News and the staff .

The council said the Molescroft News was an important resource for the residents of Molescroft at a time when villages and towns are seeing their post office closed down.

Faye Cavanagh attended the meeting where she collected the award on behalf of Molescroft News.

Commenting on the award Faye said;

“We are honoured to receive this award which is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of all the staff at Molescroft news and post office.”

“Over the last 3.5 years we have created a more welcoming environment and been able to broaden the range of post office services to include banking facilities and travel products to our loyal and expanding customer base.”
