Leading entertainment company Tony Peers Productions has teamed up with independently-owned Parkway Cinema to bring Aladdin to its live theatre stage at the Flemingate centre, from Friday, December 16 until Sunday, January 1.
The popular panto boasts an all-star cast, including Children’s BBC (CBBC) actor Joe Maw, best known for his roles in award-winning children’s drama Tracy Beaker Returns and The Dumping Ground.
Also joining the live production are theatrical dancers from The Fleur Elizabeth Academy of Dance.
Parkway Cinema’s fully-equipped live theatre stage, known as the Hayward Theatre, offers live entertainment from stand-up comedy to stage musicals and includes a licensed café bar for guests to enjoy a pre or post-show drink.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Tony Peers to bring Aladdin to our live theatre here at Flemingate.
“The actors have been very busy rehearsing and are really excited for their run over the festive season. It is already proving very popular with shows sold-out on Christmas Eve and limited availability on certain performances. However, there are still lots of performances, including matinees at perfect times for family to see the show.”
Early bird tickets are priced at £12.50 for adults, £11.50 for concessions and £38.00 for a family of four. The show has a running time of 120 minutes.
