East Riding Theatre House Café Launch Night

East Riding Theatre has opened a Café Bar which they hope will be open on a regular basis no matter if there is a show on or not.

Previously at the Theatre they just served drinks when shows were on now they have employed Cassie Page to help set up the all-new House Café.

Speaking about the new Cafe Bar, Cassie said;

“The Café was originally designed to have a ‘contemporary loft feel’ which I have stuck to – if not made it a little more eclectic to mix things up and it has worked really well.”

“It is a really fresh and clean environment to be in, which is what I think makes us just a little bit special.”

“We have fantastic disabled access and facilities that also makes it great for people with pushchairs to get in, with plenty of room to manoeuvre.”

“Opening times will be Tuesday – Sunday 10.30am until 16.00 and we have a fantastic Brunch and Lunch Menu serving such this as ‘House Pancakes’, Porridge, Baked eggs for brunch and Paninis, Baked potatoes and Homemade soup along with a lot more for lunch.”

“Afternoon tea will start soon too, perfect for a weekend treat.”

“Everything is prepared fresh to order using local suppliers. Our Coffee is produced by Coffee Officina which no one else in Beverley or Hull actually use this really delicious and fruity blend.”

“Our cakes are going to be supplied by Emma at ‘The Pop Up Bakery’ . Moving forward we hope to do a ‘Supper Menu’ so people can have a bit of grub before the evening productions.”

Currently on at ERT is Oliver Twist until January 3rd. The next show is ‘No Angel’ and ‘Sparrow’ on in the New Year.
