Staff and volunteers at the are appealing for objects and photographs to put on display for the next exhibition in the .

The exhibition is on “Pastures and ” and will look at not only the but also Swinemoor and Figham.

, Curator at the Guildhall, said:

“A previous exhibition on the Beverley Westwood and was very successful, and in the light of the recent changes to the Freemen and Pasture Masters we decided to look again at all the Pastures.

“However, it is proving very difficult to find objects to put on display and we would like anyone who thinks they have something that would help us to bring it along to the Guildhall.”

“Photographs can be scanned and returned straight away but we are hoping that there will also be objects that we can borrow for the duration of the exhibition, which will be from July to December.”

Anyone interested in lending or donating items for the exhibition should come to the Guildhall (next to the main post office) on any Friday, or contact Fiona Jenkinson on (01482) 392783, or email fiona.jenkinson@eastriding.gov.uk
