Giant Pumpkin is a Hit With Regulars at the Dog & Duck

The Dog & Duck are currently running a ‘guess the weight’ competition after being given a giant pumpkin.

The pumpkin was grown by Beverley Male Voice Choir member Nick Andrews and is currently sitting on its own table in the pub.

For a £1 regulars can have a guess at the weight with the winner receiving a few pints on the house. The money raised from the competition will go to the Beverley Male Voice Choir.

The pumpkin has become a talking point with regulars and visitors to the Dog & Duck. Landlord Mark McMullen said;

“It is the biggest pumpkin I have seen, we are not sure what we will do with it yet though it will not go to waste.”
