The Rose & Crown aim to create a bustling market town pub that serves high quality, freshly prepared food, fine wines & a selection of cask ales.
The new owners firmly believe that the The Rose & Crown is a great pub in a special building that could serve the local community and visitors to the Westwood and the market well.
The Rose & Crown serves lunch 12-3pm noon Tuesday to Friday; dinner 5-9pm Tuesday to Friday; food from 12-9pm on a Saturday and Sunday lunch 12-6pm.
The Rose & Crown also offer a bar area as somewhere that customers are welcome to eat in, but this area is not be able to booked.

We had Sunday lunch at The Rose & Crown last week and really enjoyed it, the beef was lovely, the turkish dishes were really good too. The pub was full and the atmosphere great, the real fire was on and it was lovely. The staff were so nice and couldnt be more friendly or helpfull towards us, they took the time to chat to us even though they were busy. Thanks for a great day had by all and we will be returning.

We had a great evening in the Rose and Crown last Tuesday, 5th April. Great food, good beer/wine but most of all a really friendly atmosphere generated by boss-man Errol and his staff and customers. Wish everywhere was as friendly!

Always welcomed with a big smile from Jo and Stacey when we arrive at the Rose & Crown. Lovely lasses who always make our evening a good one. We eat out here once a week Friday or Saturday and love the food, the Turkish food should be tried by everyone as it’s delicious. Nice relaxed friendly atmosphere and the girls talk to us as though we are friends not just customers. Thanks for making our nights so enjoyable.

Firstly I found three dead flies in the bottle of vinegar they brought to our table. I took it back and got another… 2dead flies. A third one… four dead flies. Finally the 4th was ok. Bad start, but then they served my vegetarian girlfriend a ‘Vegetarian Pie’ with MEAT in it, and then accused her of of ‘having a problem’ and ‘having something wrong with her’ when she complained about it! Apparently it’s ok to have meat in a vegetarian pie ‘if it was prepared next to some meat and some just fell in……..’. Kinda makes you wonder how the rest of the food is prepared really! What else is in there? I dread to think.
Worst service I’ve ever received. A disgrace.
I can assure you this obviously a fake review.
The meat and vegetables are prepared at different areas within the kitchen, as they should be.
As far as service at our pub, we are often complimented as one of the pubs with the best service in town.
