With continued growth in mind, Hull-based Pure Block Management has expanded its team.

Lizzie Gibson has been appointed to the firm’s team of block managers following recent wins with new clients. The firm manages over 100 apartment blocks and residential complexes throughout the region.

A property specialist with G2M Group in Doncaster, Lizzie has extensive industry experience. She will be responsible for the maintenance and compliance of all the developments Pure Block Management manages.

Her appointment follows two recent client wins for the firm.

Lizzie said:

“The team at Pure Block Management has a great reputation in the local property industry for excellent service, which is what attracted me to the role.

“I’m excited to be joining the company at a time when it’s investing in growth, and looking forward to playing a part in its future success.”

The company was recently appointed by local home builder Scruton to provide drainage management services for part of its Park Lane development.

39 new homes and apartments are being built in a tranquil area of the village, including rental and private properties, as well as affordable and shared equity homes.

Waddington Court, a six-apartment complex on Hull’s Cottingham Road, was taken over by Pure Block Management in July. Among the responsibilities of the corporation were day-to-day maintenance, financial administration, and legal compliance. It was appointed by the freeholders.

Pure Block Management also manages the Queen’s Court BBC building in Hull city centre, Raywell House in East Yorkshire, and Broadway House on Hornsea’s waterfront.

Pure Block Management director Liam Parker said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Lizzie to the team as we continue to win new business.

“Our work for Scruton on its Park Lane development and our management of Waddington Court is the latest in a series of new contracts in recent months that demonstrate the breadth of our experience and property management offering.

“In the case of the Park Lane development, we are providing a single, quite specialised maintenance service, while for Waddington Court we’re taking care of all aspects of management of the property.

Having assisted the leaseholders in buying their freehold, they chose to switch to us from their previous management company based on our responsive service and specialist knowledge.

“We’re looking forward to adding more properties across the region to our portfolio in the months ahead.”

Part of Yorkshire-based property firm Garness Group, Pure Block Management manages more than 2,000 residential units across more than 120 complexes of apartments and houses in the region.
