East Yorkshire-based national luxury holiday homes manufacturer, Victory Leisure Homes, has appointed Shirin Kemp as its first director of marketing and PR.

Shirin joins Victory with over 15 years of experience in communications, marketing and public relations.

Shirin said:

“Victory has been designing and manufacturing luxury holiday homes for over 10 years and has grown from a small start-up to a company that now employs close to 400 people.”

“So it’s certainly an exciting time to join the company on its journey of growth and I’m delighted to be working with the senior management team in supporting its ambitious plans for the future.

“I thoroughly enjoyed working with Victory as one of our clients in my previous agency role so I know the team well and I’m excited to be joining them.”

“The business quadrupled production of its holiday homes in just 12 months – the staycation boom certainly played a part in this, but it’s the bold vision of the senior management team and the commitment of its staff that’s really propelling Victory’s growth.

“Victory is looking to continue delivering exceptional holiday homes at a better spec than its competitors to customers across the UK. The way I envisage us doing that is through investment first and foremost in positive, aspirational, and hard-working people.”

“Our holiday homes are the best there are, and my job is to challenge ‘the norm’ and create compelling, strategic marketing and PR campaigns that deliver that message. There are certainly big things to come!”

Gary Corlyon, MD of Victory added:

“Often when taking on a new member of the senior management team, you’re taking a leap of faith that they will be a great fit for the business. Having worked with Shirin previously and being aware of her strong track record, we know how capable she is and are confident she’ll fit right in.

“This is a new role, as we recognise the value marketing and PR can bring to the Victory brand and the role it plays in sharing our story to customers across the UK – and beyond.

“As we continue to roll out ambitious expansion plans, and the UK’s appetite for staycations sees no sign of slowing, I’m confident Shirin will be a key driver in shaping the future of the Victory.”
