Business Networkers Have A Licence To Thrill

A charity online casino night is being held on Saturday 19 March at Lazaat Hotel and Restaurant in aid of Beverley Community Lift, the local charity which helps elderly and disabled people get out and about.

‘Licence to Thrill’ has been organised by BNI Wolds East Yorkshire, a group which meets in Beverley every Thursday morning for breakfast. Beverley Community Lift is the group’s charity member, raising funds to buy a new mini bus with a wheelchair lift attachment.

In true James Bond style there will be photo opportunities with an Aston Martin DB9 Volante from Aston Car to You, a casino, three-course meal, music, entertainment and a raffle with some big prizes donated by local businesses.

, CEO of Beverley Community Lift says:

“Our guests are in for a great night, packed with entertainment. We have been planning this casino night since the end of last year and have been completely overwhelmed by the kind support of local businesses who have donated generous prizes and services.”

“To buy the new mini bus we need £12,000. We have already raised part of this and hope more funds will be raised from a silent auction which includes a flying lesson from Hull Aero Club, a lodge weekend in Wales from Lodgikol, a Pandora bracelet from Hugh Rice, 2-day management and business consultancy from Ferryport Group, a smart phone with a 2 -year contract from DBfB Communications and a photo shoot with hairstyling from David Charles. In addition, the raffle includes a large number of prizes starting at a bottle of sparkling wine to a free consultation with Julie Ball Designed Interiors worth £150.”

There are still some tickets available to anyone who would like to reserve a table. Please contact manager@bclift.org.uk
