Warriors Bag Pack at Tesco Beverley Raises Over £250

Local football team AFC Tickton Warriors have thanked local supermarket Tesco after they were allowed to fund raise in their Beverley Store.

AFC Tickton who play the Hull Boys Sunday Football League collected over £250 thanks to donations from shoppers at the store.

David Ryley, the Community Champion at Tesco in Beverley said;

“Tesco were pleased to welcome AFC Tickton Warriors U13s to bag pack in our Beverley store. Thanks to the generosity of our customers, £282 was raised for club funds.”

Team Manager Neil Theobald said;

“The amount we raised was fantastic and will be enough to buy the whole team a new kit for next season. We would like to thank Tesco for allowing us to pack bags in their Beverley store.”
