Beverley Races Ladies Day Limited Tickets Available

Beverley Races say that there are a limited number of tickets still available for tomorrow’s ladies day meeting.

Thousands of people descend upon the Westwood course for the biggest social event on the racecourse calendar and arguably in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Spokesperson for Beverley Races said:

“We have a limited number of tickets available which can be purchased on the day. These will go so when the doors open at 11:30 AM on a first-come first-served basis. We restricted by numbers and only have tickets available for the grandstand, paddock, course enclosure.”

Due to the large crowds expected to visit Beverley Races Ladies Day a traffic control system will be in place on York Road after 4 PM.

York Road will in effect become one way street with all departing traffic from Beverley Racecourse being diverted away from Beverley towards the Dog Kennel Lane roundabout.

All traffic is being diverted away from the town centre does not mean people cannot get back into Beverley town centre, they added;

“The road links are fantastic around here, so getting back to Beverley after racing can be done by either bypass at the roundabout. There’ll be lots of signs and hopefully this should help ease congestion.”

“We ask all race goers to use the designated exits from the car-parks, especially on the Westwood. Exiting over the rear of the Westwood is actually unlawful, and the Police can fine you as a byelaw is in place to forbid this.”

What promises to be bigger and better than before ladies day at Beverley Races they will for the first time be broadcasting the action from the fashion marquee onto the big screens.

Also new for 2015 will be the Laurent-Perrier Style Stakes, featuring the Most Stylish Lady, Most Stylish Gent and Most Stylish Hat.

These ultimate accolades are sure to be more hotly contested than ever, with the top prize of Most Stylish Lady taking a luxury private jet weekend in Rome, courtesy of Humberside Airport. Our judges will be out and about throughout the day, so make sure you dress to impress.
