Nicky Brown ‘Overwhelmed After Fashion Raises Over £600 For St Anne’s

A showcase of fashion, makeup and hair was held for charity at Drewtons South cave raising money for St Anne’s School Welton.

The event was organised by Nicky Brown who combined the launch of her ambassadorial role with Winser London and a charity close to her heart.

St Anne’s community special school in welton caters for 2 to 19 year olds with severe learning difficulties and those with profound and multiple needs.

Nicky explained why she put on the event, she said;

“A dear friend who’s grandson attends the school is a tireless fund raiser for St Anne’s and I wanted to support her and her family.”

“It was a very successful event and saw around sixty ladies and a couple of gents enjoy a perfect summer evening with supper and a glass of fizz.”

“The fashion show was complemented by makeup artist and Pocklington GlamSpa owner Julie Ashworth and hair dos by Amanda hair designer from South cave.”

“Funds were raised by a prize draw. I was overwhelmed by the support and generosity of the guests and local businesses who donated prizes. Well over £600 was raised whic goes directly to St Anne’s.”

“On the catwalk were seven gorgeous females ranging in size and age looking stunning in Winser London and more casual fashions by N1KYB.”

Winser London is a comprehensive classic range of ladies fashion created for women of today.

The face of the label is Yasmin le Bon and the client list is endless with the duchess of Cambridge being a big fan.
