Spring Revs Up Brits To Steer Life In New Direction

Spring is a season that is synonymous with new beginnings, and according to recent research by Vauxhall, April 2015 is earmarked by Brits as the time to accelerate change.

The great British automotive brand has discovered that the new season is set to inspire a sense of adventure in many.

72% of people in Yorkshire agreed that the onset of spring encourages new experiences and encounters, with one in four people saying they’ll be using the upcoming Easter break as the perfect opportunity to take to the road and explore new places. Those planning to travel over the Easter weekend will be journeying on average 75 miles from home and one in three will take in new sights.

But new directions are not just limited to new destinations. 74% said the lighter nights and brighter days of spring give them the confidence and energy to steer their personal life and style in new directions too. One in three will be exploring new things for their home and one in five will be seeking new styles for their wardrobe.

One in three residents in the region will also be gearing up to make changes this spring, including switching career, moving house, buying a new car or learning something new.

The research comes at a time when local Vauxhall retailer, Evans Halshaw, is inviting motorists to explore new beginnings, as Aron Brown, Dealer Principal explains: “Spring is the ideal time to shake things up a bit, and with Vauxhall’s research suggesting many of us want to explore more and try new things, now is the ideal time to get the ball rolling!”

The retailer on is experiencing an era of ‘newness’ itself, as it celebrates the recent arrival of the new Corsa, whilst eagerly waiting for order banks to open for the all-new VIVA and showcasing a range of 15-plate registration vehicles.

The New Corsa made a statement when it arrived at the retailer’s showroom in January this year. Marking the start of a new era, the fourth-generation model and latest edition to the line-up offers drivers more for their money than any other previous generation of Corsa. The new model boasts an attractive price point from just £8,995 on-the-road and comes fully loaded with high spec as standard.

Meanwhile, with a name that pays homage to Vauxhall’s original Viva, which was produced from 1963 to 1979, the all-new VIVA goes on sale soon at an extremely attractive price-point. It has been truly designed for modern, everyday life, offering practicality and exceptional attention to detail.

For those looking to change their cars and take advantage of the new registration period, drivers and their families in the area are being invited to take advantage of 15- plate models. Plus, with a great range of offers available, Evans Halshaw can make purchasing and driving a brand new Vauxhall vehicle even easier, too.

Aron Brown concludes: “We’d like to invite those seeking a new experience or keen to make positive changes this spring to pop by and meet our knowledgeable, friendly team to discover the ideal Vauxhall model to keep them moving.”
