Beverley Town Cricket Club second team claimed all 30 points after they beat title rivals Acomb at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
After winning the toss Beverley put the visitors into bat who went on to post a competitive score of 193 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Kieran Thompson took three wickets making it 13 for the season while the ever reliable Pete Parnaby ended with figures of 2/44.
Beverley reached the required score with over’s to spare. Tim Smith, 38, Ben Fish,55 and Parnaby, 29, all got runs to ensure Beverley remain top of the York & District Senior Cricket League.
Victory puts some daylight between Beverley and second placed Acomb in the summit of the table as Beverley are now 26 points clear with just two matches left.
