OUT & ABOUT : Beverley Town Council Allotment Open Day

Beverley Town Council pulled off a great day as they opened up the allotments to the public.

Fantastic weather help pull in the crowds who were able to visit the allotments on Kitchen Lane and see first-hand the different things people grow on their patch of land.

To add to the day local artists were at work painting and drawing the proceedings as were local Ice Cream company firm Dream Shakers.

Yasmin Clappison of Dream Shakers commenting on the day said;

“What a great day today at the open allotment day in Beverley. There were some beautiful plots, lovely weather.”

“It was great to get involved within the local a community event and I hope to be back and see everyone next year.”
