Beverley RUFC Praise South African Touring Party

 

Beverley RUFC say that the recent visit of a touring side from South Africa was a huge success.

The side who came over from Leeuwenhof in Pretoria took on the Beverley in three games of rugby in a foggy conditions at Beaver Park.

Beverley’s U16s did the best as they managed to win 64-7 but the real spirit was shown off the pitch, David Price from Beverley RUFC said;

“Every single one of the players were a massive credit to the sport and South Africa. They were a delight to have at the club.”

“They played a great game to and we are hoping to continue our links with them with as we would like to travel to South Africa so we can play them again.”
