Town Come From Behind To Beat Chalk Lane

Beverley Town Football Club has closed the gap at the top of the Humber Premier League to just two points.

Town came from a goal down to beat Chalk Lane at 4 – 1 keeping the pressure on league leaders Reckitts AFC who were beaten for the first time this season.

Unbeaten Champion’s Beverley Town now has a game in hand on their championship rivals which if they win will see them move a point ahead of Reckitts.

This Saturday focus will move away from the Humber Premier League and firmly on the East Riding Senior Cup. Beverley Town will again return to Hull to tack on as they start their campaign on the Road to the KC Stadium.
