Whilst we fast approach this years Armed Forces Day the fifth, which will take place on Sunday 7th July 2013, David Elvidge thoughts are already beginning to focus on Beverley Armed Forces Day which will be held in the town on Sunday 6th July 2014.
David Elvidge believes as a Town and indeed as a nation that we must consider how to commemorate 1914 – 2014 and reflect on a time in our history that changed the world.
For his small part he would hope to focus on commemoration on the day and has begun already following some consultation to formulate an idea which he would like readers to comment on.
He would like to put together an evening concert on Beverley Armed Forces Day, A Last Night of The Proms type concert.
