Fish Scores Runs But Osbaldwick Hold Out For The Draw

Beverley Town ’s 2nd XI drew with Osbaldwick – 2nd Division.

Beverley lost the toss and were put into bat on a sunny afternoon at the Norwood recreation Ground.

Ben Fish top scored for the home side as he picked up 58 runs with Phil Du Boulay also showing good form with the bat as he made 50 as the home side posted a score of 214/7.

Osbaldwick scored 109/9 as Beverley were unable to get the final wicket needed to seal the win. Pick of the Beverley bowlers was Pete Parnaby, who ended the day with figures of 3/11.
