Molescroft Rangers have progressed through to the final eight of the East Riding Junior County Cup thanks to a Darren Spruce hat-trick.
Rangers pulled out all the stops to get the game played at the Beverley Leisure Centre and it paid off as they won easily against Bridlington Excelsior of the Driffield & District League 4 – 1.
Once again it was Darren Spruce who stole the lime light, the ‘Showman’ scored a hat-trick with Mike Nicholson adding a fourth from the spot.
