Beverley & Pocklington Cats Protection held a cat show this weekend at the Beverley Memorial Hall.
Cats of all ages shapes and sizes were on show with awards being given out to the owners.
All this work does not come cheap, Secretary and Fund Raiser Carol Jopling with the help of her volunteers have to find ways to raise money to pay for the veterinary bills, food and litter.
The show also helped raise funds, Beverley & Pocklington Cats Protection found new homes a staggering 315 cats in 2009 spending over £22,000 on veterinary care which includes neutering, vaccinations and microchipping.
