Young people and Staff from the Walkington Youth Club took part in the ‘Walkington 3k’ Fun Run on the 8th July to raise funds for their chosen charity of Age Concern and the also for the Walkington Youth Club.
All the young people managed to complete the 3k fun run raising £550.00 through individual sponsorship, which will now be divided between the their chosen charity and the youth club.
Three young people Amelia Hird, Shauna Southcoat and Chloe Southcoat and staff from the Walkington Youth Club, Helen Hird and Carl Southcoat presented representatives from the Age Concern charity with a cheque for half the amount raised.
