Witness Appeal RTC, Driffield Road, Beverley

Humberside Police would like to speak to witnesses to a damage only road traffic collision involving a scooter and a car that happened at 1500hrs on Friday 03 June on Driffield Road at the junction with Woodhall Way in Beverley.

A 38-year-old Beverley woman was driving her silver-blue coloured Ford Fiesta along Driffield Road when she was in collision with a scooter rider at the junction.

The young man on the scooter initially stopped but then rode off in the direction of Leconfield Road without exchanging details.

The car driver was uninjured although her car suffered some damage.

Officers would like to speak to the scooter rider to confirm whether he sustained any injuries and ask him or any witnesses to the incident to contact police on 0845 60 60 222 referring to log 512 of 03 June 2011.
