Vinnie’s Back as Boxing Returns to Beverley

Local boxer will make his much anticipated return to as he steps into the ring again in Beverley. The highly talented fighter from St Pauls Club looks set to be competing in the Open Class ABA Championship later this year and his club are confident he has a real chance of going all the way.

Fight Promoter Paul Kershaw, of St Pauls Club, is committed to ensuring there are lots of boxers from Beverley competing in the events saying;

“We will put as many fighters from Beverley in the ring on Beverley Fight Nights; it is a great experience for any boxer to compete in his home town with home support.”

“The people in Beverley always turn out well to support the local lads, back in November the atmosphere was amazing during the Lou Haubbabrd and Jol Thorne fights.”

“Fight fans in Beverley should get ready to see a top quality night of amateur right on their doorstep.”

Kershaw also confirmed that a night of ‘International ’ was scheduled for 15th May again at the , the evening will see England take a another country with Ireland being the likely opposition and will again feature more boxers from Beverley.
