Beverley & East Riding Lawn Tennis Club is holding an early-season open day at the Seven Corners Lane Club.
New head coach Tom Davies will be on hand on Sunday 10 April, from 1-4pm, to pass on his expertise to anyone interested in joining the club.
Some of the latest tennis equipment will be on display, with a chance to buy or order anything that takes your fancy.
Spaces are available for anyone attending by bike, while parking is unrestricted in North Bar Without on Sundays. Refreshments will also be provided.
Club spokeswoman Jackie Harris told HU17.net:
“Our club is very friendly and anyone of any standard can join. We have a new head coach and there’s a variety of coaching schemes on offer for children, young people and adults.
“We have social tennis thoughout the year – just turn up and play on Saturday afternoon or Wednesday evening (afternoons during the winter).
“There are also tournaments, competitions and league matches for a variety of standard of player of all ages.”
