Ten Beverley AC runners took on the Major Stone Half Marathon around the village of Lockington last weekend.
Becky Briggs was Beverley Athletic Club’s star performer at last Friday evening’s Airkool Walkington 10k road race, winning the women’s race and taking 31st place overall in the event.
19 Beverley runners were among the 127 finishers of the Burton Pidsea 10k road race. This is a fast, flat race through rural East Yorkshire. First home for the club was Aubrey Morrell, recording 36:59.

Twelve Beverley AC members took part in the North Lincolnshire Half Marathon near Scunthorpe last Sunday. This year’s was the fourth time the race has been held on a fast.
Athletes from local running clubs and from further afield gathered at Great Hatfield last Sunday to take part in the Hornsea 1/3 Marathon.
