Captain’s of Beverley Town Cricket Club have expressed their thanks to the businesses and individuals who have sponsored the club for the forthcoming season.
Beverley Town CC, who play at the Norwood Recreation Ground provide cricket in the local area for all ages including free softball sessions every Monday.
Beverley RUFC’s Mini section were back in training under the watchful eye of their coach Roger Spinks as they played ‘tag rugby’ a non contact form of the game.
These shots were sent in by local pharmacist Roger Spink. While out walking his dog Scout at daft o’clock this morning Roger spotted that cows had got through a gate that had been left open and were feasting on the track!
The Mini Section caters for children from the age of 6 through to 12. Children play in their own age groups. Beverley RUFC has a thriving Mini and Junior section with over 140 children registered. A Bianchi Mountain bike customised for Volvo large frame was stolen from outside Spinks the Chemist on Tuesday afternoon at 4pm. The thieves who stole the bike turned up on a purple Appollo ladies mountain bike, which they left behind. The bike taken is just one of four in the area. Any help to find the bike would be much appreciated by its owner, local pharmacist Roger Spink.
