Beverley is set to lose another pub with the Lincoln Arms being the latest boozer to close its doors.
Located on Eastgate in Beverley the boozer has been purchased by a group of local investors who are converting the public house into a living accommodation.
In just a few hours the Euro 2012 tournament will kick off as co hosts Poland takes on Greece. Hornsea lass Sonia Holt who works the Oddfellows was only too pleased to pull on an England shirt and back the lads in the Euro 2012 finals.
The christening of Alfie Ashby took place at St Nicholas church and was attended by around 40-50 guests with Chris and Kerry Thirkettle and John and Sharon Rawdon being named as God parents. Alfie’s mother Michelle Craven and father Andrew Ashby then held a reception at Oddfellows to mark the occasion.
The Oddfellows Arms is located on Eastgate in Beverley, a traditional pub that has survived the test of time. They sell a good selection of beers, food and provide live sporting events in both of their bars and on a big screen.
