MP Graham Stuart is urging parents, pupils and staff members from local schools to get behind National Bike to School Week.
The MP for Beverley and Holderness has written to schools in the area asking them to ger behind the incentive. National Bike to School Week takes place from 23 to 27 September.
MP Graham Stuart says he is extremely disappointed with the decision to close Beverley’s Crown Post Office.
Mr Stuart had joined others in campaigning to keep the postal service at the office in Register Square. The MP also met with bosses of the postal service handing them a petition signed by residents.

The school on Eden Road in Beverley was awarded the money by the Tesco in Beverley. In all, they received £2,000 as a result of finishing first in the supermarket’s Bags of Help incentive.

This programme is a fully-funded three-day course that runs from 1 – 3rd July and aims to equip teachers with the knowledge to inspire children about British values and our political system.
