A coffee morning organised by local runner Lucy Stamford at St Mary’s Church in Beverley has raised over £1000 for the charity Heads Together.
Lucy who recently completed the London Marathon, raising funds for the charity held the coffee morning to help boost the overall amount for Heads Together.

A busy weekend for Beverley AC saw runners represent the club at 3 events, The East Hull 20, The Lincoln 10k and The Coniston 14 miles in The Lake District.

Timmy Davies continued his fine form for Beverley AC in the City of Hull AC hosted event, The Ferriby 10. He finished 5th in an impressive 56 mins 8 secs , only 31 seconds from a second place berth

Last Saturday, several members of Beverley Athletic Club made the trip over to the Yorkshire Dales to take part in the Wharfedale Half Marathon. This is a regular trip for some club members
The 30th Lochaber Marathon, on Sunday 14th April saw 3 Beverley AC runners take on the Loch side ‘out and back’ course, set in some of the most beautiful mountain and lake scenery you could run in, on the West Coast of Scotland.
More than a hundred dedicated runners assembled at East Hull Harriers clubhouse in Saltshouse Road on Boxing Day to run off the excesses of Christmas Day in the club’s annual Boxing Day 10k.
