East Yorkshire Judo Academy’s Younger Players Gain International Experience

East Yorkshire Judo Academy accepted an invite by Klungsbacka Judoklubb to travel to Sweden for a weekend of competition and training.

The team of 7 players aged between 12 and 17 years old and along with 2 of EYJA’s coaches, made the trip to compete at the Gothenburg Open Judo Tournament. Klungsbacka Judo offered superb hospitality allowing the East Yorkshire squad to stay at their club.

East Yorkshire Judo Academy Proud As Five Members Represent Country

East Yorkshire Judo Academy recently had five of their players representing England at the Commonwealth Judo Championships.

The club would have been proud to have one player there. However, to have five players competing is a testament to the dedication of all the players within the club and also the abilities of the coaching staff to train athletes to such a high standard.
