The inaugural Burton Constable 10k race, organised by East Hull Harriers, took place last Sunday. The race was fast and flat, on trails through the grounds of Burton Constable Hall, landscaped by Capability Brown.
Beverley Athletic Club are organising a ‘one off’ event to celebrate the forthcoming opening of Beverley’s new Southern Relief Road – the Minster Way 5k Run.
Athletes from local running clubs and from further afield gathered at Great Hatfield last Sunday to take part in the Hornsea 1/3 Marathon. Beverley AC put in an excellent performance, fielding the winner of the women’s race and two top-ten runners in the men’s race.
Beverly AC members took part in the prestigious 6 and 12 stage Northern Road Relays at Heaton Park, Manchester. Due to the larger numbers of male runners, the men take part in the 12 stage event and women the 6.
Beverley Athletic Club’s athletes had a cold and frosty start to their cross country race last Sunday. Held in the grounds of Sledmere House, this was the fourth race in the 2013/2014 East Yorkshire Cross Country League
With the clocks going back last weekend, runners tackling the 27th Haltemprice 10k on Sunday had an extra hour in bed to rest in preparation for their efforts
Beverley Athletic Club have joined forces with venue host, Bishop Burton College and main sponsor Southburn based farming company, JSR to organise the inaugural ‘College Canter’ multi terrain running event on Sunday, 29 September 2013.
A total of 33 Beverley AC runners competed in the Humber Bridge 10k race last Sunday. Run by City of Hull AC, this is a well established and popular race which has been getting bigger every year.
The second race in the East Yorkshire Cross-Country League took place at Drewton Woods near South Cave last Sunday. It was a gloriously sunny day and conditions were perfect for cross country running.
