Charging Points For Cars To Be Increased By Government Funding

Extra charging points for electric vehicles will soon be available in locations across the East Riding including Beverley.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has secured a grant of £50,000 from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. As a result of the funding seven electric chargers will be installed in the region.

East Riding College is set to become one of the first colleges nationally to offer a range of courses about hybrid vehicle technology.
