Beverley Town Reserves clinched the title on the final day of the season with a 4-2 win over Holme Rovers at Longcroft School.
Town, started the game knowing that a point would be enough to secure the title though started poorly and found themselves two down inside the first ten minutes.
Beverley Town Reserves hosted Holme Rovers in the East Riding County League however the game was abandoned in the first half due to a serious injury to Town’s Tom Proud.
Proud found himself on the wrong end of an awful tackle that left him serious damage to his leg with fears at first it was broken.

The Tanners started 2010 after a long lay-off when their pitch at the Beverley Leisure Centre became unplayable.
