Mill Lane United were hoping for a win after a three match lean spell that had seen them lose ground in the East Riding Girls Football League league and exit the cup.
Beverley Whitestar Falcons were beaten as the East Riding Girls Football League got under way. Playing at the Beverley Leisure Centre Hessle Town Girls cruised to victory as they beat Whitestar 7 – 1.
Beverley Whitestar Falcons beat their rival Beverley Whitestar Hawks 14 – 0 at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Imogen Wright stole the show with eight goals while Lindsay Jordon got four and Eve Squire picked up two.
Beverley Whitestar Falcons dropped two points at home though remain unbeaten in the East Riding Girls Football League. The Falcons sporting a new pink and black kit drew 2 – 2 with Pinfleet Wolferton at the Beverley Leisure Centre.
Beverley Whitestar Eagles beat North Ferriby United 10 – 0 at the Beverley Leisure Centre in the East Riding Girls Football League. Five goals from Anya Shepherd, a hat-trick by Niamh Foster and a brace from Mia Cunliffe ensured the home side won all three points.
Mill Lane United made it through to the Semi Final of the under 14 plate competition after a hard fought performance against Hessle .The teams meet earlier in the month in the Tesco cup final when Mill Lane United won convincingly
