A celebration of the life of Beverley based artist Jane Pearson will take place on the 15 March at 2PM at Beverley’s Memorial Hall.
The watercolourist gained a reputation during the 80s and 90s as one of Yorkshire’s leading landscape artists.
On Friday, 23 February, there will be a chance to enjoy a February walk along quiet country lanes and along the Hudson Way, also known as the Beverley to Market Weighton Rail Trail.
The five-mile walk will start outside the Light Dragoon pub in Etton, at 9.30am. It will be an opportunity to spot early spring flowers on the verges and up on the trees.
