Sophie Day gave up her hair, something she has been growing for four years so it can be used to make wigs for children fighting cancer.
Sophie, who works at Edward House Dental Studio in Beverley decided to go ahead with the challenge following attending a charity ball.
Shaved on one side, set on rollers, teased and styled with back combing and a red colouring.
