East Riding Youth Dance is happy to announce its return for an autumn term, running from October 2021 to February 2022.
This exciting and inspiring community dance programme takes place in the East Riding for young people aged 9 – 18, in Bridlington, Beverley, Pocklington, Leven and Withernsea.
East Riding Youth Dance (ERYD) term has had to be shortened by three weeks because of the government restrictions currently in place, and the Platform event that should have taken place at Bridlington Spa at the end of April has had to be cancelled.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is delighted to announce that funding has been secured from Arts Council England for the next two years to continue with East Riding Youth Dance.
The first strand of the project is youth dance and it will deliver a community dance programme for young people aged 11 to 18.

Youth dance groups are taking place for 12 weeks in six areas of the East Riding including Beverley. These will take place at the Memorial Hall on Tuesdays from 26 February.

Participants will work closely with professional dance artists, providing a platform for those with little or no previous background in dance to have a fun, energetic and inspirational experience.
