Two tries apiece from Louis Hubbard and Aaron Horsfield weren’t enough to stop Beverley ARLC bowing out of the Council Trophy after a 44-26 defeat at Bilton Sully’s. The Blue and Golds progressed to second round of the Council Cup and were good value for their win which could have been by a much bigger margin. The referee  disallowed at least four touchdowns two of which were very borderline forward passes.
