Beverley Whitestar girls had a disappointing afternoon in the East Riding Girls Football League. In the two games of football played today at the Beverley Leisure Centre, both sides were beaten.
Beverley Whitestar Falcons were beaten as the East Riding Girls Football League got under way. Playing at the Beverley Leisure Centre Hessle Town Girls cruised to victory as they beat Whitestar 7 – 1.
Hull City fans across the East Riding got to meet their heroes this Sunday at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Their Premier League heroes were in Beverley to meet and greet fans and show off the club’s new home kit.
Beverley Whitestar Warriors Under 10s hosted Bridlington Rangers Cobras who sat 4th and 3rd in the Hull Boys League table respectively before today’s match.
Beverley Whitestar Vipers enjoyed a brace of victories at the Beverley Leisure Centre. The Vipers beat South Cave Sporting 2-1 and 5-2 to the delight of manager Rob Chilcott.
After yet another three-week lay off due to weather, Whitestar finally returned to action in the County Cup (Chairmans Cup). The game was scheduled to be at Brandesburton, but the weather had backed up so many games; it was agreed to move to North Froddingham.
AFC Tickton were beaten by Westella & Willerby Juniors in the Hull Boys Sunday Football League. Westella, who top the table and have lost just once all season cruised to a 6 – 1 win at Longcroft School in the U14 Myton League
Beverley Whitestar Falcons beat their rival Beverley Whitestar Hawks 14 – 0 at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Imogen Wright stole the show with eight goals while Lindsay Jordon got four and Eve Squire picked up two.
Beverley Whitestar Bulldogs came from a goal down to beat the Cobras at Longcroft. After going behind the Bulldogs were thrown a life line by the referee who awarded them a penalty then sent off the player.
Whitestar earned another 3 points that’s kept them in 4th place in the league. The pitch looked good, but upon closer inspection it was just about playable and this became obvious once the game got under way.
Beverley’s residents were out in force to witness this local derby as Molescroft FC Galaxy played hosts to Whitestar Athletic. It was Athletic who were sharpest out of the blocks taking the upper hand in the opening exchanges.
Mill Lane United smashed eleven goals past Beverley Whitestar as the sides met in the East Riding Girls Football League. United move to third in the table and have games in hand on league leaders North Ferriby United Greens
Whitestar turned up at Bude Park to find the pitch in good order and looking forward to a challenging game after losing at home to Swallow 4 -6 in the Cup only 3 weeks prior.
After being knocked out of the League Cup by AFC Sallow in what was an extremely close game 6 – 4, Whitestar arrived at Newbald in a determined mood. Within the first minute of Whitestar kicking off, the ball was in the back of Newbalds net.
