Beverley 10K Race Report & Finishing Times

Hundreds of people turned out in Beverley on Sunday to watch the annual 10k road race organised by Beverley Athletic Club.  A record 1089 runners completed the testing course in cool and damp conditions. One of Beverley’s traditional seasonal features, the grazing animals, have started to appear on the on the Beverley Westwood. Sheep with their lambs and cattle are starting to come back to the pastures that surround the historic market town. 150 Runners Take to Beverley Westwood

More than 150 runners from local running clubs gathered on Beverley Westwood on Tuesday evening for the third race in the 2010 Champagne League. HALO Competition held in Beverley

Beverley hosted the first event in the new Yorkshire Urban Orienteering League last Sunday. Organised by Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers (HALO) the event attracted 48 competitors some of whom had travelled considerable distances. Local teenager and HALO member Charlotte Ward won the open women’s event and Steve Watkins of Airedale won the men’s.
